6 is enough

A big hi to everyone from the East side of Edmonds. Since the last newsletter, we've added three to our great fam and pray every day that will be it. We're coming up on our 8 year anniversary in November and life keeps getting better and better, although it's bittersweet watching the children grow up.
Lily (12 going on 17) will be in 7th grade this year. She's excited to start middleschool and play basketball again. She's an awesome help to us with the younger children, loves going to YW, and tries her hardest not to talk about boys when we're listening.
Ian (11) is also going into middle school but will be in the 6th grade. He loves to game with Mom and Dad, read Avatar manga books, and the normal boy stuff- wake up, eat, bug sisters, eat, bug some more repeat...
Miya (10) is going into 5th grade and is becoming quite the skateboarder. She's gone vegetarian/treehugger on us since this past February which started with a bet between her and Ian. (She gets $20 next year.) If this earth lover thing is her way of rebelling, we're okay with it.
Elise (6) is going into 1st grade. We were pleasantly surprised to find out she had a 2nd grade reading level and knew what a hexagon was at the beginning of K last year. She is a viracious reader and is always busy- she gets bored on the 2 minute car ride home from school.
Joseph (2 AKA "Mojo") is the entertainer of the house. His new thing is playing air guitar to any song he likes (including Primary songs which is a pretty funny thing to watch.) He loves to roughhouse with Ian and tries to get away with anything-which he usually does because he is so darn cute.
Evie (9 mo) is our superstar. She had open heart surgery this past July to patch a hole between the ventricles of her heart and the change has been incredible. She's gaining weight, grabbing for things and is just the most incredible baby.
And then there is us. April (forever 25) and Joe (age unknown) are keeping busy. Joe still works for the Seattle Times but is starting school this Fall for his gaming development certificate (and a BS in IT). April finally earned her AA and is almost halfway through her LPN. Hopefully by next year she'll be getting her BSN and with luck we'll be able to make it down to Utah for the next reunion.

April it is so good to see your family on the Webb family blog. The kids are really growing fast. Once again I didn't make it up there over Labor Day but it's still in the planner I just don't know when. I'm applying for SS so I should have a little more money so that won't be the excuse forever. I Love all of you!!

Way cute pictures of all the kids. And of you and Joe. I love your hair! And Joe looks the exact same as he always has (and I mean that as a compliment since we don't know how old he is.
