2009 Webb Family Christmas Party

Does anyone remember the Webb Family Christmas Party where all in attendance were given a hand-sewn (with love, I am sure) green and red Christmas night gown and we all posed for a picture wearing them? It was at least 25 years ago. And there was also one that crossed my memory of a re-creatation of the manger scene where who ever was in charge tried very hard to get all the little kiddos a place to participate with some sort of prop. Dean, Dwane and Derek were the oldest and tallest, so naturaly were the shephards and Joseph (also at least 25 years ago). Well, these memories are from a 2nd generation member of the Annis and Francis Webb family - we were all very cute and innocent then! Here are pictures of many of the absolutely beautiful 3rd generation, about two and a half decades later.

Santa still comes to visit the Webb children, exciting many while frightening a few, leaving all with a Christmas surprise. Aunt Loralie played "Here Comes Santa Claus" while the kids sang him in the room. All the 2nd generationers, (now mostly "grown-up") got to enjoy some good laughs with each other while the grandparent 1st generationers had a chance to do some catching-up. I think all would agree that family is so important in this ever-growing-crazy world, and we are blessed that so many of us are still able to gather once-in-awhile to laugh, play, eat (of course!), and share in the joy of being together. Thanks to Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Pam and family for organizing and hosting this year's annual Webb Christmas Party. We missed all of you who weren't able to join us and hope you know we love you! Merry Christmas everyone!

LaNell, Thank you so much for posting this! I was really sad to have missed it. (Grateful, though, that I didn't try to come. The roads would have been horrible.) We look forward to trying to be there another year! Love you all!
